  Based on an old German tune, it has a strong driving melody and an ambiguous rhythmic feel which I have exploited in this arrangement.

• Huron Carol - Jean de Brébeuf - Canadian Carol (1642)
  A beautiful simple melody which I have given a more modern feel.

• O Holy Night - Adolphe Adam
  A beautiful carol which could accompany a choir - I always think of “Home Alone” when I hear this.

• The Shepherds' Farewell - Hector Berlioz
  Taken from Berlioz's oratorio L'enfance du Christ depicting the flight of the holy family from King Herod's massacre of new-born children. The Parisien audiences did not like the harmonic dissonances at the time, but it is now sung by choirs across the world.
