Wieldy Waltz
- Alun Cook
Alto Saxophone and Piano
Wieldy Waltz still has educational mileage as it explores a good range and addresses swing rhythms. Although generally technically undemanding there are a couple of bars that are quite challenging, making it a good GCSE performance piece. It is also available elsewhere on this website transcribed for Flute.

The Santa Express
- Alun Cook
2 Altos and Piano
Deep in the depths of the Kent countyside at Christmas time, the Steam Railways run "Santa Specials" as a Christmas treat for the young and old alike and this light-hearted composition gives a hint of both Christmas and the steam locomotives. This version is for 2 Altos and Piano, but it can be found elsewhere on the site for Sextet, Octet, Sax Choir, Orchestra and Piano Duet.
