Arranged to be as flexible as possible, it is possible to perform this with just Bb clarinets but ideally use a Bass Clarinet and then add the extras if you are lucky enough to have them. Purcell's theme was used by Benjamin Britten in his "Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra" and more recently in the film "Pride and Prejudice".
